Teaching today is much more than being a teacher.
It is being someone who listens to family and friend problems—someone who gives rides home because the student was forgotten—someone who brings extra breakfast because there is a hungry student—someone who helps with math homework even though they are a History teacher—someone who teaches the difference between right and wrong—but, most importantly, someone who praises, rewards, cheers, and proudly brags about students’ achievements.
