Student Work: June

Sun Jun 15, 2008, 3:26 AM
Teaching today is much more than being a teacher.

It is being someone who listens to family and friend problems—someone who gives rides home because the student was forgotten—someone who brings extra breakfast because there is a hungry student—someone who helps with math homework even though they are a History teacher—someone who teaches the difference between right and wrong—but, most importantly, someone who praises, rewards, cheers, and proudly brags about students’ achievements.

This is a continuation of a monthly segment where I introduce my students and their works. With the world so violent today, with so many adults too busy for children, it is imperative to stress the positives and any achievement, no matter how small. Remember, do them right, because they will be taking care of us and our world one day!

Michael :iconthepenname: is a friendly and kind person and excellent student. He is going to be a senior this year--I can't believe it! His photography is great and relaxing and his photoshop prints are fun. This photo [link] was even featured in the High School's Literary Magazine!

Please check out Michael's works.

You're welcome. 'Oft I find other abstract art interesting, since my own I can make no sense of, whatever it might be, or what it could be. So I enjoy seeing other abstract art, other emotions played forth on the field.

In concordance to the inopportune moments of complete delirium I must say that, consequentially enough our lives and our interests in their combinated state are impossibly destructible and self-engulfing...how dangerous.
